Galaxy Color is a special transparent effect pigment designed for resin artwork.
When you look at the pigment powder inside the containers, the colors may appear very similar from the outside.
But once a small amount of pigment is mixed with properly combined resin and hardener, the individual color begins to appear beautifully.
Depending on the lighting and viewing angle, the pigments can create different shades, reflections and shimmering effects.

How to Use Galaxy Color
A simple step-by-step guide to your first galaxy artwork.

Prepare the Base
- Take an MDF board or canvas.
- Paint the surface using acrylic color.
- Black acrylic paint is recommended because it creates a stronger galaxy contrast.
- Allow the acrylic paint to dry properly.

Create Stars
- Using a brush and white acrylic paint, create small white stars across the black background.
- You can create different sizes of stars to make the artwork look more natural.

Mix Resin & Hardener
- Prepare your resin and hardener according to the mixing ratio recommended by your resin manufacturer.
- Mix thoroughly in a paper cup for approximately 3 minutes, or as instructed for your resin.
- Do not change the resin-to-hardener ratio when adding Galaxy Color.

Apply Transparent Resin
- Pour a thin layer of the clear resin and hardener mixture over the MDF board or canvas.
- Spread it across the surface.
- This transparent resin layer will help create the glossy galaxy effect.

Prepare the Six Galaxy Colors
- Take approximately 10 grams of already-mixed resin and hardener into each of six separate paper cups.
- Add a small amount of one Galaxy Color pigment into each cup — Cup 1 → Blue, Cup 2 → Pink, Cup 3 → Purple, Cup 4 → Golden, Cup 5 → Silver, Cup 6 → Pastel Green.
- Mix each color thoroughly.
A small amount of pigment is enough. Start with less and add more only if necessary.

Create the Galaxy
- Pour small amounts of the six colored resin mixtures over the prepared MDF board or canvas.
- Do not completely cover the surface with a single color.
- Allow the colors to interact naturally.

Create the Galaxy Effect
- Use a hair dryer or a suitable resin heat/air tool gently to move and blend the colors.
- Create flowing patterns, clouds and galaxy-like formations.
Do not overheat the resin. Always follow the safety instructions for your resin, heat tool and working environment.
